Twinspire and Pieces of Me Challenge

Jen at Pieces of Me has put out a challenge to "Not" use a sentiment on the front of your card and to have the image tell the story. I think if you look real hard you will be able to tell what she is thinking. Eleanor at Twinspire also put out a challenge for World Cardmaking Day to make a card using your favorite stamps. Must admit that my favorite changes pretty much weekly, but at the moment this is my favorite. I stamped the image in black and just used my red copic marker to give color to her lips, I used the coffee cup and steam stamps on the background of the cardstock. Felt this image was screaming for red gingham, so got out my CTMH gingham paper and red ribbon.

Jen did not say you could not put you image on the inside of the card so that is what I did. You know looking at this card, there is more going on in the inside than the outside. Hope everyone is having a fun weekend. Did some blog surfing last night, please forgive me for not leaving comments, but as so enjoying doing the weekend off thing that I think I will continue this. Hope everyone had a great time and created some fun cards yesterday and for all you Canadians - Happy Thanksgiving.

I also want to thank Pescbrico of Pesc for her helpful hints in improving my picture taking, she has a great blog and it is bilingual, heck I can't even get English right. As you can see the photos have improved immensely. Noticed also that Beate of Fresh and Fun put out a post on how to take a good photo this weekend.

When I saw your card, I instantly thought "food" because of the red checkered pattern (Betty Crocker)! Ha! I was close! Great job on the card and inside looks great!

The photo of your card looks great! I use those OTT lamps when I take my photos because I usually take photos of my cards at night. Do you use natural sunlight?

HOpe you are having a wonderful Sunday!
