Double Challenge

Daring Cardmakers has put out a challenge

G'day all, Gillian here, and it's my turn to dare you all this week
Your card can be any theme you like, just as long as it's got something you'd find in a Haberdashery Department on it,

Beate has put out a sketch challenge so I thought I would combine them both, not to sure how true I stayed to Beate's sketch, but know I sure put a lost of stuff on the card that would be found in a Haberdashery Department.

I searched through my closet for old patterns, yup used to make all my own clothes then I went back to school and between that and a full time job something had to give, but I still make my own curtains, drapes and pillows, HEY I can use that in my tag challenge. Forget you read that. I added some paper from an old sewing pattern and then pulled out my cardboard stickers for a tape measure, buttons and lace then added some ribbon through the lace. Thought this wonderful lady would be perfect for a Haberdashery, I added some bling to the pom poms on the bottom of her dress.

I am working on a tutorial for what I call box cards, great for kids and hope to have it finished to post tomorrow night.

Hi! Very cute card I must say! You are added to my reader and I read every Blog you write but I don't comment. (Sorry, I will try to be better :) ) I was just wondering if you could e-mail me at trishalynn0708@yahoo.com or comment on one of my Blogs. I wanted to know where you got that adorable stamp!
Thanks, I appreciate it. :)

Flossie, I think you might just win the "prize* (if there was one) for the highest number of haberdashery items on one card - and it all looks fantastic!
